Two kinds of wheels your car comes with Steel and aluminum
Aluminum wheels are more known for mag wheels or alloy wheels. Steel wheels usually have a hubcap or some sort covering it up. Sizing up your wheels or rims. Only way is taking the tire of the rim and the size is usually stamping on the inside where the tire covers over it. Sizes run from 13inch all the way up the 20 inch.
Custom wheels are going bigger these days.

Tires sizes- to find out what the tire sizes mean are marked on the side of the tire.
example 225/60R16
Whats that number mean?
225 is the height of the tire from the bottom edge to the top edge.
60 is the width of the tire from side to side.
16 is the rim size it fits
R stands for radial tire.
 
So next time you go shopping for tires you know what those numbers mean.
The factory tire size specifications will always be listed on the sticker inside side of the driver's door 
Where you will find the size, the weight capacity of the car and correct air pressure to run.
